Our mail order pharmacy called this morning. The message was automated. Here is how it went:

Me: Hello
Medco: This is Medco, your mail order prescription pharmacy. Is this Bruce?
Me: No
Medco: Is Bruce available to take this call?
Me: No
Medco: Would you be willing to take a message for him?
Me: (I had to see what would happen) No
Medco: October 28th is an important day because that is the day his prescription will ship. Please relay this message to him.

Isn't technology great?
