Devotional Choir

This is spirit week at the university. As part of the festivities, faculty was invited to sing with the Collegiate Singers, Men's Chorus and Women's Choir for devotional today. I took Laurie from work with me and we attended a practice yesterday afternoon and they sang with them this afternoon. We sang "Let Zion in Her Beauty Rise." The arrangement was magnificent, ranging from tender to rousing. We sat on the front row (along with other faculty - you can tell who we are because we are old and we were permitted to use music) and I can't even begin to describe how wonderful it was to hear the voices behind us and to, in some small part, contribute to the spirit that was there today.
