Light in the darkness

Yesterday in Sunday School (as we were having a discussion about Jesus being the light of the world) a sister shared an experience that I wanted to be sure to remember.  She had gone to visit some friends in California and they went to the Oakland Temple to walk around the grounds.  It was at night, and as they stood overlooking the bay, with the stars, moon, and the distant lights of the city, she commented that the scene was beautiful.  Her friend said, "Do you see that the only good thing about the darkness is the light?"
