Sunday was NOT a good day

This is what I felt like on Sunday. Before I left for some meetings for Student Living on campus, Bruce asked to talk to me. He told me that my replacement for first counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency had just been called. He said that he normally would not have extended her the call so early but she was going in for some surgery and he wanted to take care of before. I was literally walking out the door so I didn't have time to sit and cry (my make-up would be bad and the students would be able to tell I had been crying), but I have to tell you I felt just like this baby.

We have three more weeks until we are released and I will admit that (after 7 1/2 years on campus) it is sad and a bit scary as I will have to return to a ward where I know very few people. It will be like moving to Rexburg all over again.

I am still applying lessons I learned from you to my life everyday! I am grateful for the time I got to work with you and learn from you. They are wonderful memories.

Oh I love what Katherine said! You've done such amazing things during all the years you've served. I can't imagine how it feels to be released from something you've loved for so long (in a few years I will though!). I love you so much Mom! I am lucky to have you as my Mom! And I'm excited to hear about your new adventures as you and Dad go back to your home ward. Just think, you can sit next to him during two meetings on Sunday and hold his hand! Pure bliss!
