Almost Heaven

This last week we have had all of our children home. Bruce was part of the faculty for education week again this year and taught 2 classes so Adrienne, Matt and their boys came last Thursday from Arizona, Aaron arrived this last Thursday from Minneapolis, and Tami and Carter drove up from Utah. With Jen and Nick here with their kids we had a house full. It was wonderful.

The best part for me was attending the Rexburg Temple with all of the adults. We missed having Livy (and the girls) and Steve (and Addison and Carter) with us for sure. After the session was over Bruce and I were able to show the kids around the temple. We went up to the 3rd floor and walked through the large sealing room as well as along the long corridor to the windows over looking the Celestial Room. We were able to go into the children's waiting room and nursery and had a few minutes alone in that beautiful setting so I could share an experience a good friend had while arranging for the alter cloths to be made. It was a great opportunity to feel the great spirit of that building and to enjoy the love we feel for our dear children. We exited the temple through the back doors so we could walk past and see the baptismal font and small chapel. It was a glorious afternoon and I will never forget the experience.
