His Grandma

Last Wednesday a student approached me after class to once again tell me that he was sorry he had not shaved for lab the Friday before (he had come unshaven for the mid term and, although I would normally have told him to leave the lab, shave, and then return, I let him stay, but made him promise that he would come groomed according to BYU-Idaho standards in the future).  I told him that I appreciated him coming to me to apologize, that I still loved him, and that we were still friends.

He looked at me and said, "Good because disappointing you Sister Kusch, would be like disappointing my grandma."

He meant it most sincerely but I thought in my mind  - do I look that old?!
